I agree, I found it hard to figure out too. 

Can you expound on what wasn't clear or obvious? What parts did and didn't make sense?

I find this way to confusing as well.  I can never find my carma?  This should be found under my account. Give and Receive tabs are way to confusing.  They should be offers, wanting, my items.  My items should consist of anything that deas with the user, items posted, items requested, and items picked up.  There should also be a link to connect to my items under my account.  I was going to reference more people to this site, but I hesitate to do this because it is just to hard to follow.  So even if they sign up they will not stay using it.
