You now have the option of specifying that you'll ship an offer to a FreeSwapper if they request it. When you post your offer you also specify the shipping instructions, which could include whatever details you have. FreeSwapper in now way arbitrates or handles any of the shipping process. If you agree to ship an item, the agreement is between you and the other FreeSwapper. FreeSwapper recommends that you require payment in advance (via PayPal or similar method) before you ship, but that is up to you.

If a FreeSwapper fails to send payment for an item, then you simply mark the item as not picked up. Their karma will be negatively affected and their ability to request things in the future will be diminished.

You can also specify when creating a WANT if you will pay for someone to ship it to you. This is great for hard-to-find items that don't show up very often.

You'll notice that wants and offers that were marked as willing to ship will appear in your lists, regardless of mileage from your location.
